EP TCL152
Three-Wheel Electric 1.5T Counterbalance Forklift
The TCL152 is a compact 1500kg three-wheel counterbalance forklift powered by an 80V lithium-ion battery. With a 1572mm turning radius, a 1020mm overall width and an overhead guard height under 2000mm, it keeps working where full-size trucks cannot go — narrow aisles, low-clearance areas, mezzanines, cargo lifts and inside trailers. Its dual-drive PMS motor system delivers smooth, agile handling, while automatic stop on ramp and turn speed control support safe operation. The TCL152 is the ideal forklift for light to medium-duty applications where maneuverability is the main priority.

The TCL152 Advantage

Compact Size, Full Operator Comfort
With a low service weight, a 1020mm chassis and an overhead guard height below 2000mm, the TCL152 is at home on mezzanines and cargo lifts, in intensive warehousing and inside HGV trailers. Despite the compact footprint, it keeps the operator comfortable with an ergonomic layout, 464mm of legroom and clear all-round visibility.

Dual Drive Motors
The dual drive motor system, unmatched in this capacity segment, gives the TCL152 outstanding traction and ultra-responsive steering. Together with the agile 3-wheel design, it turns on the spot for an exceptionally tight 1572mm turning radius. A 13km/h top speed and strong acceleration keep pallet handling fast in busy, space-restricted environments.

80V Li-ion & PMSM Technology
The TCL152 comes standard with an 80V lithium-ion battery and an integrated single-phase 35A fast charger, so it supports opportunity charging from an ordinary outlet with no battery maintenance and no charging room. Advanced permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) technology adds a 10-15% energy saving and around 10% more runtime compared with conventional motors.
About TCL152
The TCL is EP Equipment's compact three-wheel counterbalance range, designed around a single goal: moving pallets in spaces where a conventional forklift simply does not fit. A 1300mm wheelbase, 1020mm overall width and 1572mm turning radius let the TCL152 work in aisles from 3260mm, while the 1988mm overhead guard clears low doorways, mezzanine decks and cargo lifts.
Mast options run from a 2500mm two-stage standard mast up to a 4500mm three-stage free-lift mast, so the same compact chassis can serve both low-clearance handling and full-height racking.
Application
The TCL152 suits light to medium-duty indoor handling: intensive warehousing, retail and distribution back-of-house, food and beverage storage, third-party logistics, and loading or unloading side-loading trucks and containers. Its low overall height and tight turning circle make it a natural fit for multi-level facilities that rely on cargo lifts and mezzanine storage, and the single-phase built-in charger means no electrical upgrade is needed to get it running.
Key Highlights
Sub-2m Overhead Guard
At 1988mm to the top of the overhead guard, the TCL152 clears low doorways, mezzanine decks and cargo lifts that keep standard counterbalance forklifts out.
Dual Drive PMS Motors
Twin 2.0kW permanent magnet drive motors, unmatched in this capacity segment, deliver strong traction, ultra-responsive steering and a 13km/h top speed for fast pallet cycles.
1572mm Turning Radius
The agile three-wheel chassis turns virtually on the spot, working in aisles from 3260mm with 1000x1200 pallets carried crossways.
Built-In Single-Phase Charger
The standard 80V/35A on-board charger runs from an ordinary single-phase outlet, so opportunity charging needs no charging room and no 3-phase upgrade.
Automatic Stop on Ramp
An electric parking brake with automatic stop on ramp prevents the truck from rolling back when it is parked or restarted on a slope.
Turn Speed Control
Travel speed is automatically reduced through corners as standard, keeping the load stable and the truck predictable in the tightest of aisles.

Frequently Asked Questions
EP Equipment utilizes Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cell technology, which is engineered to deliver upwards of 4,000 charge cycles. Paired with our proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) that actively prevents overcharging and deep discharging, the battery typically lasts the entire operational lifecycle of the forklift without power degradation.
Lead-acid batteries require a strict 8-hour charge followed by an 8-hour cooling period and suffer from 'memory effect'. In contrast, EP's lithium-ion batteries support opportunity charging—allowing operators to plug in the equipment during 15-minute coffee breaks or shift changes. This eliminates the need for spare batteries and dedicated charging rooms, enabling seamless 24/7 operation.
Lithium-ion battery removes the daily and weekly maintenance burdens associated with traditional power sources. There is zero battery watering, no acid equalization, no engine oil changes, and no filter replacements. Maintenance is strictly reduced to routine mechanical inspections (such as brakes, tires, and mast lubrication).
Absolutely. EP strictly utilizes LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) chemistry, which is fundamentally more thermally stable than NMC chemistries used in consumer electronics. Our battery packs emit zero harmful gases during operation or charging, making them perfectly safe for enclosed, unventilated indoor spaces.
Many EP models are equipped with advanced Telematics. This system provides fleet managers with real-time data on truck location, operational hours, battery health diagnostics, and impact reports. It also supports RFID card access, ensuring only authorized personnel can operate the equipment.
